This is a picture of SweetPea that is a few years old..... but the only picture I could find of the old John Deere............
I did not realized how long it has been since I last posted.......
January was a productive month...... Sweet Pea won first place in 4-H with his radon poster
and then his poster won second place for the State of Alabama. It can be viewed at sosradon.org under 2014 Poster winners - Alabama.
He also won third place at 4-H round up with his BeyBlade Demostration.
February was an exciting month..... our two ewes had their lambs. Betty had twins ... Angus and Sadie
and Rosie had a ram that we named Burt.... they are so cute and as precious as can be...
We also have a new member on the farm.... a Zebu calf named Fern...... my husband bought her thinking that she was a bull but the seller made a mistake and sold us a girl... it was our blessing.... my husband called to let them know what had happen...... they said that it was their mistake so Fern gets to stay... plus I was not going to let her go anyway.... I like the little girl alot.
We have the garden turned and getting ready lay our our plan for a garden. Thinking about the bountiful harvest that it will yield makes me so happy.
Happy Cooking and Many Smiles and Blessings
Tracy
